We are a warm, busy family looking for a caring, reliable Family Assistant / Household Manager for a long-term position. Monday–Friday, 12 p.m.–7 p.m. Our family includes two boys, ages 15 and 11, and our friendly, fairly independent 80-year-old father. Professional PSWs already assist him with personal care, so your role will focus on companionship and helping our household run smoothly. Main responsibilities: * Companionship and conversation with our father * Cooking and meal preparation for the entire family * Meal planning, snacks and preparing family meals * Keeping the whole house clean and organized * Laundry and general household duties * Helping the boys with homework and daily routines Excellent cooking skills are a must. We are looking for someone warm, trustworthy, organized, proactive, and who genuinely enjoys caring for a home and family. A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle would be a strong asset.
