As part of the Department of Corporate Services, the City of Humboldt is currently seeking to fill one (1) temporary, full-time Accounts Supervisor position. The position is expected to begin immediately and run until approximately November 13th, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services or designate, the Accounts Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of the City’s accounts payable, accounts receivable, utility billing, and taxation functions to ensure the accurate processing of payments, billing, collections, account maintenance, and reporting. They will review invoices and payment requests for accuracy and legitimacy, monitor outstanding balances, address discrepancies, and work collaboratively with department heads and customers to resolve issues. They shall consult with the Finance Manager regarding significant variances, over expenditures, or collection concerns while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
