About Yorkville University

Yorkville University is founded on the belief that education is a catalyst for transformation. Together with Toronto Film School, the university offers creative and academic programs at both the college and university levels, fostering a multidisciplinary environment where innovation and the arts intersect. Since 2004, Yorkville has been one of Canada’s few private, for profit, degree granting universities, with campuses in Ontario, British Columbia, and New Brunswick. Its programs are designed to be rigorous, flexible, and industry informed, supporting learners in gaining the skills, knowledge, and professional designations valued by employers. Many of Yorkville’s students are adults balancing education with work and personal commitments, and the university’s flexible delivery ensures that learning enhances their lives rather than interrupting them.
