Job Description

In this role, you will manage assigned Auto Property Damage claims and litigation matters within your delegated authority. You will provide end-to-end claims handling, litigation carriage, and dispute resolution services by leveraging claims expertise, legal knowledge, and appropriate internal partnerships to support timely, fair, and efficient claim outcomes while mitigating legal, operational, and reputational risk. Responsibilities

Manage customer and third-party relationships throughout the litigation process, providing professional, timely, and accurate service. Collaborate with internal and external partners to support timely claim resolution. Conduct the defence of assigned Auto Property Damage litigation files within authority and professional licensing requirements. Reviews claim decisions and supporting documentation to assess litigation risk, defensibility, and resolution strategy. Prepare, file, and manage court documents, correspondence, settlement materials, and related litigation activities. Manage file documentation, financial transactions, reserves, and administrative processes in accordance with established procedures. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards. Conduct activities in accordance with professional licensing obligations, internal governance requirements, and applicable court rules. Build and maintain effective working relationships with Claims, SIU, Legal, and other business partners. Share knowledge and expertise to support team effectiveness and continuous improvement. Keep stakeholders informed on file status, risks, and key developments. Responsible for the management and resolution of assigned Auto Property Damage claims, including litigation carriage where permitted by jurisdictional requirements. Job Requirements

Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Undergraduate degree, college diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of insurance claims handling experience, preferably within Auto Property Damage. 3+ years of litigation, legal, or paralegal experience, including Small Claims Court matters. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and competing priorities. Who We Are:
