For accommodation needs, please contact at any stage of the hiring process.Visit our Careers at CLBC page to learn more about working at CLBC, what we offer, and tips for the interview process.About the Role:Reporting to the Manager, Continuous Quality Improvement and working closely with the Continuous Quality Improvement Lead, this role provides the analytical and evidence-based foundation for continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. The position is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing, and presenting data that supports decision-making, performance measurement, and accountability across service delivery. The Analyst ensures data integrity, supports evaluation and research activities, and translates complex information into accessible insights that inform quality improvement initiatives within CLBC's human services environment.Key responsibilities:Works with the Manager and CQI Lead to develop and maintain KPIs, performance measures, baselines, targets, data definitions, and data collection plans Analyzes multiple sources of qualitative and quantitative data to support root cause analysis, process mapping, service pathway review, and identification of systemic risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities.Collects, validates, and manages qualitative and quantitative data related to service quality, performance indicators, and outcomes.Designs, builds, and maintains dashboards and visual reporting tools (e.g., run charts, control charts, and summary indicators) for use by leadership and operational teams.Creates plain-language reporting products tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, operational teams, front-line staff, and external partnersSupports internal and external audit, review, and accreditation processes by compiling data, verifying accuracy, and responding to information requests.Ensures data quality, integrity, and version control, contributing to a single, trusted source of performance information.Maintains a central repository of CQI datasets, indicator definitions, measurement plans, reporting products, methodology documentation, and version-controlled analytical files.Collaborates with the CQI Lead to support evaluation frameworks, logic models, and measurement plans for CQI initiatives.Partners with the CQI Lead at the start of CQI initiatives to develop evaluation frameworks, logic models, indicators, baselines, measurement plans, and feasible approaches to data collection and reporting.Responds to analytical requests from the Manager, CQI and other internal interest-holders, prioritizing work based on organizational needs.What you will bring:Bachelor's degree in social sciences, statistics, health informatics, data analytics, business administration, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 1-years' direct experience in research and data analysis, preferably within a human services environment.Formal training or certification in data analytics, business intelligence, or CQI (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, IHI Open School certificates).Experience working within a public‑sector, community living, or comparable organization is an asset.We are also looking for:Knowledge of continuous quality improvement and performance measurement frameworks relevant to public or human services.
