Director of Operations & Delivery – Calgary, AB

This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing operations, project execution, logistics, inventory management, and engineering support while driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and delivery performance across the organization. What We Expect?

Bachelor’s degree with a technical background required. 5+ years in a similar operational leadership role. Strong leadership and team development experience. Background in manufacturing, operations, logistics, or industrial/technology-driven industries. Experience with ERP systems (SAP is an asset). Strong communication, planning, and decision‑making skills. Lean / Six Sigma knowledge is an asset. Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead and optimize all operational activities across production, logistics, inventory management, project execution, and engineering support functions. Establish, monitor, and achieve KPIs related to operational efficiency, quality, delivery performance, capacity planning, inventory control, and cost management. Oversee full project execution from handover through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, within scope, and to customer quality expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations and project delivery by identifying opportunities to improve workflows, productivity, technology utilization, and operational scalability. Collaborate closely with sales, engineering/design, project management, logistics, and leadership teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution across departments. Develop and maintain operational structures, processes, procedures, and governance standards that support business growth and operational excellence. Lead resource planning, scheduling, risk management, escalation management, and operational decision‑making to support business continuity and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, environmental regulations, health & safety requirements, and applicable legislation.
