Senior Software Engineer, AI Development

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team, blending backend development expertise with emerging AI technologies. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve developing and integrating intelligent AI Agents, applying advanced Prompt Engineering techniques, and leveraging the Google ADK to build next-generation solutions that meet key business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot with MongoDB.
• Develop, integrate, and deploy AI Agents to enhance application intelligence and automation.
• Apply advanced Prompt Engineering methodologies to optimize interactions with large language models and other AI systems.
• Utilize the Google ADK (Agent Development Kit) to build, test, and deploy AI-powered features.
• Conduct feasibility studies, provide time and cost estimates, and contribute to IT planning and risk assessment for new applications.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support for applications to business users.
• Recommend and implement security measures in post-implementation analysis to ensure system design and functionality.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on application development for senior stakeholders and team members.
• Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to company policy and applying sound ethical judgment.

Qualifications

• Possess 4+ years of relevant experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Demonstrate significant experience in designing and developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Show experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases for data persistence.
• Have demonstrable experience with AI Agents, including their design, implementation, and integration into software systems.
• Possess practical experience and a strong understanding of Prompt Engineering principles and best practices.
• Show familiarity with the Google ADK or similar AI agent development kits and platforms.
• Proven experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
