Description de poste

Are you a Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Clinical Information Systems and hospital workflows? Do you excel at bridging the gap between clinical teams (physicians, nurses, pharmacy, lab) and complex IT architecture? Looking for long-term contract stability with the flexibility of working remotely? If so, we invite you to lead business analysis for one of Atlantic Canada's most ambitious healthcare digital transformations.

Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent provincial healthcare technology organization, is undertaking a major digital transformation to unify standalone hospital systems into a single, standardized Clinical Information System (CIS). As a Senior Business Analyst, you will act as a pivotal partner across clinical, operational, and technical streams. You will lead requirements gathering, workflow mapping, gap analysis, and system readiness assessments to ensure seamless adoption of the new clinical platform.

Advantages
- Enjoy a multi-year mandate with up to 4 full years of steady project work.
- Work remotely from anywhere in Canada with minimal annual travel.
- Play a central role in modernizing care delivery and patient outcomes across an entire provincial healthcare network.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with clinical stakeholders (physicians, nursing, lab, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging) to elicit, validate, and document business and technical requirements.
- Conduct gap analyses and technical assessments on downstream clinical applications (registration, scheduling, lab, pharmacy, DI) integrating with the core CIS platform.
- Develop detailed process workflows, use cases, integration diagrams, solution designs, and cutover/readiness plans.
- Design and lead interactive workshops, vendor alignment sessions, and senior governance/steering committee briefings.
- Assist with system configurations, issue resolution, and operational support queue maintenance as needed during project phases.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Recent years of demonstrated experience leading business analysis activities for large-scale healthcare or public sector transformations.
- Recent years of direct experience engaging clinical stakeholders (physicians, nurses, allied health, operational leads) to gather and map clinical workflows.
- Recent years of experience working with enterprise Clinical Information Systems and downstream applications (Laboratory, Pharmacy, Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, etc.).
- Bilingualism: Fluency in both English and French is an Asset.
- Recognized industry credentials such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, or CSM are also an Asset.
- Previous experience within Atlantic Canada healthcare technology environments is strongly desired.
