Job Title: Forklift Operator / Material Handler Job Description

We are seeking a Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support receiving, inventory control, and order picking in a warehouse environment. This role primarily operates a Reach Truck and Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift while working with inventory, RF scanners, and the Warehouse Management System (WMS). The position supports the assembly department through accurate inventory handling and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Trucks and Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklifts.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and product types.
• Enter and maintain inventory records in the WMS.
• Pick and stage orders for the assembly department.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits using RF scanners.
• Operate a jib crane as required (training provided).
• Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping standards.

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating Reach Trucks (approximately 90% of the role).
• Experience operating Sit-Down Forklifts.
• Ability to read picking tickets and verify product information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using RF scanners and inventory management systems.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with valves, industrial products, or large parts.
• Reliable transportation required (no public transit access).
