At our Stratford Facility we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck defense and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding metal forming saw cutting painting assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures sheet metal to heavy plate.

Position Summary : The Production Scheduler works with Arrow team members to plan and prepare production schedules ensuring products are manufactured and delivered in a cost efficient and timely manner.

Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to the following :

• Creation and maintenance of production plan & master schedule per customer demand using ERP system
• Plans & prepared production schedules on a daily weekly and monthly basis working with sales / accounting / purchasing and manufacturing departments to meet sales forecasts
• Keep production priorities current complete and accurate while maintaining a cross-functional production control team
• Work cross-functionally to ensure all labour material and operational inputs can support the aligned schedule
• Generate plant forecasting of load and both short-term and long - term available capacity.
• Generate Master Production Schedules and Manufacturing Orders forecasting inventory requirements optimizing inventory levels as well as helping the organization evaluate and implement an inventory management ERP system
• Review sales forecasts customer demands and schedule production batches based on inventory levels and production lead time
• Responsible for accurate raw materials WIP and finished goods inventory levels; accuracy of product data for finished product
• Advises management of the status of work in progress and potential production problems to ensure that personnel equipment materials and services are provided as needed.
• Create and / or organize a production schedule daily and also make sure that every output (level) is recorded appropriately in the correct system
• Work hand-in-hand with other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved
