Intermediate / Senior Civil 3D Specialist

Responsibilities :

• Assembles, assesses and incorporates municipal design standards, utility layouts and related reference materials in preparing designs
• Submits designs to regulatory and municipal approval officials, when directed. Develops and maintains relationships with approval officials
• repares preliminary and detailed quality take offs and cost estimates for municipal servicing and road projects utilizing format / software program prescribed by the municipality
• Plans and organizes the design and drafting of engineering drawings for municipal servicing and road reconstruction projects, environmental assessments, etc., in accordance with Project Managers’ specifications and established work-hour budgets
• Provides input regarding design and drafting budgets for proposal preparation
• Calculates pipe sizes, drainage areas, road and area grades, distribution networks, appurtenances placement and earth work quantities. Makes revisions as instructed by the Project Manager and / or regulatory and municipal officials
