Casual Caretaker

South East Cornerstone Public School Division is inviting applications for casual Caretakersin each of our schools. The successful candidates will have commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division.

Duties:
In addition to those duties outlined in the job description responsibilities include the cleaning and minor maintenance of the assigned facility to ensure its clean and safe operation.

• Caretaker Job Description

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 10 education (Grade 12 or equivalent is preferred)
• Valid Firemans Certificate is preferred
• Valid Drivers License
• Direct experience in the caretaking field would be considered an asset
• Demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures cleaning processes products and equipment is preferred
• Knowledge of computers and applicable software
• Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone School Division

Salary & Benefits:
Wage in accordance with the applicable currently negotiated collective agreement as listed on our website.
