  • Design and deliver simulation‑based and experiential learning activities.

  • Facilitate structured debriefing and reflective learning discussions.

  • Promote critical thinking, clinical decision‑making, and resident‑centered care.

  • Partner with leaders to identify learning needs and practice gaps.

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and practice support to frontline staff.

  • Support quality improvement and resident safety initiatives.

  • Assist with implementation and sustainment of clinical best practices.

  • Evaluate effectiveness of training using feedback, participation, and outcomes data.

  • Monitor learning outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement of programs.

  • Act as a clinical education resource across assigned homes/regions.

  • Maintain current knowledge of LTC standards, education practices, and clinical developments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience.

  • Current Instructor BCLS/CPR certification.

  • Experience in clinical education, adult learning, or staff development.

  • Knowledge of long‑term care standards and infection prevention practices.

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, or leadership (asset).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with simulation‑based education and multi‑site environments (asset).

  • Familiarity with quality improvement and resident safety principles.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual learning, and LMS platforms.
