What will your typical day look like?

The Talent Advisor, Specialist provides leverage and support to Talent Leaders and Talent Advisors across key aspects of client service delivery. This role brings operational efficiency, accuracy, and consistency to important moments in the talent lifecycle, while supporting data-driven decision-making and helping enable a smooth experience for leaders and practitioners.

Your day to day will vary, because no two days are quite the same. You will support Talent Advisors and Talent Leaders across key talent lifecycle activities, including performance management, compensation, recruitment, promotions, and other service-specific Talent priorities. You will prepare data insights, assist with ad-hoc Talent inquiries from practitioners and Partners, and collaborate across the broader Talent team on transactions and deliverables that support your client group.
You will also have the opportunity to prepare and present reporting insights on a range of HR topics, such as attrition, performance management trends, and workforce data. You will also contribute to the development of tools, templates, playbooks, reports, and communications that create consistency and efficiency across the Integrated Team and Talent Advisory function. With a focus on operational excellence, you will help ensure Talent programs and processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time while continuing to build your HR, digital, and analytics capabilities.

About the team

The Talent Advisory team partners with the business to shape human capital and culture priorities in a dynamic talent landscape. Acting as trusted advisors, they work with leaders to strengthen organizational effectiveness, support succession, and ensure critical talent and capabilities are in place. Grounded in strong business acumen and data-driven insights, the team informs talent and business strategies while influencing enterprise Culture & People priorities. They integrate talent, culture, and organizational levers to drive agility, performance, and resilience, with a focus on inclusion and continuous improvement, enabling leaders to build high-performing teams and deliver sustainable people outcomes.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

You are someone with these required skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work on time.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly complex, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong data literacy, including the ability to consolidate data, identify trends, and prepare meaningful reporting and insights.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of core HR functions, including performance management, talent reporting and analytics, policy, compensation, recruitment, and the ability to leverage centres of expertise to meet business needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey key messages clearly and build trusted relationships at all organizational levels
  • Organizational awareness, empathy, active listening skills, and sound judgment when supporting leaders, practitioners, and Talent colleagues
  • Resiliency and professionalism in high-intensity situations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.


It would be great for you to have some of these nice to have's as well:

  • Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National clients, bilingualism in French and English is an asset
  • PeopleSoft or other HRIS experience would be considered an asset.
  • A relevant university degree and CHRP designation, or equivalent knowledge and experience, would be considered an asset.


Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
