Senior consultant, DB pension administration

Responsibilities

• Act as manager in the client accounts department.
• Take responsibility for planning the work related to pension plan administration.
• Help with work supervision and verification.
• Monitor the progress of tasks and projects.
• Train and coach team members.
• Provide support for the team in carrying out a variety of special projects.
• Prepare and track the budget.
• Build client satisfaction by listening to their needs and responding to their various requests, as well as those of members and trustees.
• Suggest ways of improving processes.
• Develop new business contacts, new agreements with existing clients, and help develop new markets with prospective clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, administration, actuarial science or other relevant training.
• Exceptional team spirit.
• Incisive analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Well‑organized and resourceful.
• Good communication and collaborative skills.
• Strong ability to manage and motivate a work group.
• Highly developed customer service skills.
• Excellent spoken and written French; bilingualism an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000. Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance, and experience.
