emergiTEL is hiring a Enterprise Service Desk Analyst. This is a contract role.
Compensation: $24.91/hr
Location: Winnipeg MBor Regina SK
Job Description (English)
Working Hours: Flexible (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM CST) Monday to Friday
Position Summary
  • Provide first-line technical support to clients and internal service teams.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues including servers networks phone systems cloud environments and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Deliver remote support to ensure seamless client operations.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line customer support troubleshoot technical issues and maintain system performance and reliability.
  • Resolve incidents promptly to support service delivery commitments.
  • Configure workstations and software for new employee onboarding.
  • Administer and manage servers networks Azure environments and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Participate in IT projects including system enhancements staging activities and large-scale device imaging.
  • Troubleshoot workstations network infrastructure Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) DNS DHCP file servers and related technologies.
  • Assist with security reviews backup audits upgrades and system optimization initiatives.
  • Follow hardware and software standards policies and security best practices.
  • Communicate incident status updates planned changes and approved service interruptions to clients in a timely manner.
  • Document recurring issues and develop knowledge base articles for future reference.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team and support colleagues with varying technical skill levels.
  • Completion of a post-secondary program in Information Technology or a related discipline or equivalent education and experience.
  • CompTIA A Network and Security certifications are considered assets.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a managed services technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory.
  • Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts and technologies including routers switches firewalls LAN WAN VPNs network security systems and intrusion detection systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune Microsoft Defender Exchange and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal. French is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Please note: This role does not require the candidate to be bilingual; speaking both languages is an asset. English is a must.
