AI‑Assisted Full Stack Engineer- Java/ React

Our client, is seeking an experienced, delivery-focused AI-Assisted Full Stack Engineer (Java / React) to join their forward-thinking application engineering team.

In this senior technical role, you will play a critical part in designing, building, refactoring, and hardening enterprise software components while serving as an internal subject matter expert on AI-assisted software development methodologies. You will leverage cutting-edge AI development accelerators—such as Anthropic Claude, Claude Code, and Cursor—not as autonomous decision-makers, but as force multipliers to accelerate delivery cycles, elevate code quality, and reduce downstream rework. Operating within a structured Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with product owners, enterprise architects, and engineering pods to ensure all generated code meets strict production-readiness, security, and maintainability standards.

Responsibilities

AI-Accelerated Development & Full Stack Engineering
Full-Lifecycle Execution: Design, build, refactor, test, and harden scalable Java backend and React frontend components across the complete software development lifecycle.

Responsible AI Tooling: Leverage AI-assisted development platforms (Anthropic Claude, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate delivery, improve maintainability, and reduce code review friction.

Production-Readiness Governance: Thoroughly review, explain, modify, and own all AI-assisted outputs, ensuring all artifacts comply with strict enterprise standards for error handling, logging, resilience, and secure coding.

Pipeline Integration & Testing: Maintain robust unit/component test coverage and ensure seamless compatibility with existing enterprise CI/CD deployment pipelines and operational monitoring frameworks.

Collaboration, Knowledge Transfer & Security
AI Enablement & Mentorship: Share best practices with peer engineers on prompt engineering, iterative code refinement, AI-assisted refactoring, and quality assurance.

Agile Alignment: Actively participate in all standard Agile ceremonies, providing regular status updates, participating in peer code reviews, and demonstrating AI delivery efficiencies to key stakeholders.

Data Security Compliance: Strictly adhere to corporate security and data protection guidelines, ensuring no confidential, proprietary, or regulated client data is exposed to external AI systems.

Technical Consultation: Provide guidance on strategies to validate AI-generated code, ensuring every artifact transitions into a high-quality, secure asset suitable for live production environments.



Qualifications

Experience: Senior-level hands-on software engineering experience delivering complex production systems in enterprise environment settings.

Core Tech Stack Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in full-stack web application development using Java (backend) and React (frontend).

AI-Assisted Development Tools: Proven, practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools—specifically Anthropic Claude, Claude Code, and Cursor—to accelerate design, coding, and refactoring.

Architecture & Security Literacy: Solid understanding of clean code architecture, secure coding patterns, data protection standards, and RESTful web service design.

DevOps & Pipeline Familiarity: Working knowledge of modern CI/CD automation pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.

Location Requirement: Must be located and legally eligible to work within the United States.

Soft Skills: Exceptional technical communication, problem-solving abilities, and consultative confidence; ability to explain, justify, and document complex implementation decisions where AI tools significantly influenced the outcome.
