Computer Application Support – Senior

A major federal defense organization is seeking two Senior ServiceNow Developers to lead the design, configuration, and hands-on technical delivery of a high-priority digital onboarding platform. Operating within an enterprise architecture framework, the successful candidate will configure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions leveraging ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) and App Engine. This initiative aims to modernize intake workflows, streamline enrollees' onboarding lifecycle, and improve overall operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities
Platform Development & Configuration: Configure the ServiceNow HRSD module using out-of-the-box capabilities; build and maintain workflows, Flow Designer flows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and catalog items.
System Integration: Design, develop, and implement bi-directional REST/SOAP API integrations and configure IntegrationHub (including custom Spokes) to connect disparate application environments.
Data Security & Governance: Enforce data separation and compliance requirements by configuring robust data security controls, roles, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
Testing & Deployment Management: Execute unit testing and support System/User Acceptance Testing (UAT); manage update sets, version control practices, and code promotion across environments.
Performance Optimization: Monitor application stability, troubleshoot server/client-side script bugs, and refine configurations to minimize technical debt and optimize platform throughput.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with solution architects, QA, and project teams to translate business requirements into sustainable technical designs while maintaining comprehensive system documentation.

Qualifications
Experience Baseline: Senior-level software development background with 10+ years of technical delivery experience.

Mandatory ServiceNow Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Human Resources (CIS-HR)
ServiceNow HR Professional Suite Certification

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within the last 10 years designing and implementing bi-directional REST API integrations on ServiceNow.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within the last 10 years configuring ServiceNow Integration Hub and developing/customizing Integration Hub Spokes.
Module Expertise: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience within the last 10 years configuring ServiceNow HRSD Lifecycle Events and Activity Sets.

Education: Certificate, diploma, or degree in Computer Science or a relevant field from a recognized post-secondary institution.

Security Clearance: Valid Reliability Status clearance.
