Part-Time Nanny Needed – Milton, Ontario We are a loving family in Milton, Ontario, looking for a warm, nurturing, energetic, and reliable part-time nanny to care for our toddler. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children and is enthusiastic about engaging in active play, learning, and exploration. Our ideal nanny is hands-on, attentive, and comfortable running around, playing, and keeping up with an energetic toddler. Position Details: - Location: Milton, Ontario - Schedule: Part-time, minimum 15 hours per week - Flexibility: Must have some flexibility with scheduling, as days and hours may vary - Position: Live-out - Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, in accordance with Ontario employment standards Responsibilities: - Providing attentive, nurturing, and engaging care for our toddler - Participating in active play, including running around, outdoor activities, and age-appropriate games - Encouraging learning, creativity, and development through interactive activities - Assisting with meals, snacks, and daily routines - Light housekeeping, including laundry, folding clothes, tidying, and maintaining an organized home - Ensuring our child's physical safety and emotional well-being Ideal Candidate: - Previous experience caring for toddlers - Active, energetic, and enthusiastic about hands-on play, rather than relying on screen time - Gentle, patient, compassionate, and dependable - Practices positive parenting and respectful communication - No yelling, harsh discipline, physical punishment, or punitive approaches to managing behaviour - Comfortable responding to challenging behaviours through patience, redirection, and gentle guidance - Proactive with light housekeeping and laundry - Flexible with scheduling and able to accommodate reasonable changes - Comfortable around cats, as we have a friendly cat in our home - CPR and First Aid certification preferred We strongly believe in providing a loving, respectful, and emotionally supportive environment for our child.
