Location: Toronto, ON

Experience: 10+ years
Required Experience
- 8+ years of Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Dynatrace, Observability, Cloud Platforms, and Infrastructure Automation.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.

Key Responsibilities
Platform Engineering
- Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient platform infrastructure.
- Implement Platform Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices.
- Drive platform reliability, scalability, performance optimization, and operational excellence.
- Define and maintain Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets.
- Support production systems and participate in on-call support rotations.
Dynatrace & Observability
- Implement and administer enterprise-wide Dynatrace monitoring solutions.
- Deploy and manage Dynatrace OneAgent across enterprise environments.
- Configure Dynatrace SaaS/Managed environments.
- Build and maintain dashboards, management zones, custom metrics, and alerts.
- Configure Synthetic Monitoring, Real User Monitoring (RUM), and Distributed Tracing.
- Implement proactive monitoring for infrastructure, middleware, applications, APIs, databases, and cloud services.
- Optimize anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and problem management.
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Improve platform reliability through automation and proactive monitoring.
- Perform incident response, troubleshooting, and post-incident reviews.
- Implement monitoring standards and operational runbooks.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Continuously improve system availability and resiliency.
Automation & DevOps
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
- Integrate monitoring into deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve platform stability.
