  • Facilitate leadership team meetings, quarterly business reviews, strategy offsites, and cross-functional planning sessions.
  • Drive alignment across global R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Product, Research & Science, Engineering, and Commercial teams.
  • Identify strategic opportunities, competitive risks, regulatory hurdles, and scalability challenges, then proactively address them.

Executive Advisory & Decision Support

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the Head of AI CoE on strategy, prioritization, partnerships, resourcing, and new AI initiatives.
  • Prepare high-quality executive materials, including Board updates, investor narratives, clinical evidence summaries, and strategic roadmaps.
  • Provide data-driven insights, competitive analysis, and risk assessments on emerging AI concepts and technologies.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead or support high-impact AI projects from model development through clinical validation, regulatory submission, and deployment.
  • Design and optimize scalable processes for AI development, clinical dataset management, validation, regulatory pathways, data governance, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Ensure rigorous follow-through on decisions with clear accountability across global matrixed organizations.

Communications & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Craft internal and external communications, including executive messaging, clinical white papers, scientific congress materials, and publications.
  • Act as central liaison with global business units, academic partners, KOLs, healthcare providers, regulatory bodies, and senior leadership.
  • Maintain clear, timely information flow while protecting sensitive clinical data, intellectual property, and patient information.

People & Culture Leadership

  • Champion a high-performance, innovation-driven culture focused on scientific excellence, patient impact, ethical AI, and responsible innovation.
  • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, leadership development, and succession planning for critical AI, clinical, and data science roles.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • The ideal candidate is a highly structured, analytical thinker with outstanding communication skills, executive presence, and proven ability to influence without authority in complex, global, matrixed environments.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in strategy, operations, Chief of Staff, management consulting, or business leadership roles (ideally in healthcare technology, medtech, AI/ML, or life sciences).
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML applications in healthcare, with preferred experience in oncology, medical imaging, or radiotherapy.
  • Strong familiarity with healthcare regulatory landscapes (FDA, EU MDR/IVDR, GDPR/HIPAA) and clinical evidence requirements for AI medical devices.
  • Proven success operating in fast-paced, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple complex priorities with excellence and deliver results.
  • Highly analytical with strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical AI concepts into strategic business narratives.
  • Prior experience supporting senior executives in a Chief of Staff or equivalent capacity.
  • Demonstrated discretion and integrity when handling sensitive clinical, regulatory, IP, and people matters.

Leadership Competencies

  • Influence Without Authority: Builds alignment across diverse technical, clinical, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Operational Discipline: Brings structure, clarity, and accountability to complex AI innovation processes.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Builds trust and manages highly confidential information with care.
