Communication is an essential part of the work since we collaborate closely with our customers. As an employee at ELITS, you will become part of a great team that responds with humility and takes pride in what we deliver.

About this opportunity

ELITS is looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Data Center Deployment Coordinator to support on-site data center infrastructure deployments. This role is focused on coordinating day-to-day deployment activities, supporting remote project teams, and helping ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. You will be a key on-site point of contact, working closely with project managers, contractors, and customer teams throughout the deployment cycle.

What you will do:

• Provide full-time on-site presence in the data center, five days a week, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Join on-site stand-ups, coordination meetings, and deployment calls as needed.

• Support validation activities such as cable resets, cable swaps, equipment reboots, and other hands-on deployment checks.

• Manage day-to-day data center deployment tasks and help keep activities aligned with the project plan.

• Supervise local contractors and support on-site teams during deployment activities.

• Act as the on-site point of contact for remote deployment teams and help resolve operational issues quickly.

• Coordinate deployment activities related to network cabling, Ethernet, InfiniBand, and High-Performance Computing environments.

• Track progress, verify work completion, and escalate blockers, risks, and concerns in a timely manner.

• Provide daily and weekly status reporting and end-of-business deployment updates.

• Support immediate escalation cycles and help ensure effective communication between on-site and remote stakeholders.

• Represent ELITS professionally in front of the customer and maintain a high standard of communication and coordination.

• Support irregular hours, weekend work, and urgent operational activities when required.

The skills you bring:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in data center support, infrastructure deployment, or a similar technical environment.

• Experience with data center deployment project coordination, including some hands-on technical exposure.

• Good understanding of physical data center infrastructure, including power, racks, servers, networks, and cabling.

• Familiarity with data center deployment cycles and pre-deployment planning activities.

• Experience with networking technology and supporting Ethernet, InfiniBand, network cabling, or High-Performance Computing deployments.

• Comfortable working on site in live data center environments.

• Strong written and spoken English.

• Good communication, coordination, reporting, and escalation skills.

• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with limited supervision.

• Able to support remote teams effectively while maintaining control of on-site activities.

• Available to participate in several preliminary calls before deployment begins in order to become familiar with the project and best practices.

• Able to commit to the project timeline without significant planned vacation during the key delivery period.

Physical and other requirements:

• Comfortable working full time on site in a data center environment.

• Able to support off-hours and weekend deployment activities when needed.

• Comfortable performing light hands-on tasks such as cable handling, equipment checks, and reboot support.

Qualities:

At ELITS Canada, great people create great impact. Success in this role comes from curiosity, ownership and a practical approach to delivery. You are someone who:

• Thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and communicates with clarity and confidence.

• Balances coordination skills with hands-on problem solving and sound judgment.

• Takes initiative, works independently, and is comfortable owning day-to-day outcomes.

• Brings structure and discipline to documentation, reporting, and operational execution.

• Contributes to a culture of trust, learning, and continuous improvement.

This position is open to Canadian residents and individuals with a valid work permit in Canada.
