A well-established national property and construction consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its North Sydney team.
With more than 50 years of industry experience the consultancy has built a strong reputation for delivering independent cost management and advisory services across both public and private sector projects. This role is suited to a Quantity Surveyor with 2 years consultancy experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Youll work across a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects gaining exposure to cost management project delivery advisory and strategic asset management services. Working closely with experienced senior professionals youll continue developing your technical capability while progressively taking ownership of projects and building strong client relationships.
Prepare cost plans estimates and feasibility studies across all project stages
Assist with procurement tendering and contract administration
Prepare cost reports variations and final accounts
Support project delivery across multiple sectors and clients
Liaise with clients consultants and contractors throughout project delivery
Contribute to advisory and strategic asset management services
Develop strong commercial and client relationship management skills
Work collaboratively with senior team members to deliver successful project outcomes
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
2 years consultancy Quantity Surveying experience
Strong understanding of pre-contract and post-contract services
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
AIQS membership or working towards accreditation is highly regarded
Work across an even mix of public and private sector projects providing excellent variety and broad industry exposure
Continue developing your experience across cost management project delivery advisory and strategic asset management
Learn alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors who are passionate about mentoring and professional development
Build strong client relationships while progressively taking on greater project responsibility
Hybrid working with the flexibility to work from home two days a week
