Position Summary We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Helper to join our team during the day shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM).

This hands-on role is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of production machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical knowledge, and previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable troubleshooting equipment issues in a fast-paced production setting.

Additional training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery, equipment, tools, and building facilities.

Conduct regular inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and safety checks to ensure equipment is operating efficiently.

Assist in diagnosing machinery breakdowns, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and identifying appropriate solutions.

Adjust, repair, or replace defective machinery components as required.

Assist with the dismantling, installation, reassembly, and relocation of machinery and equipment.

Safely operate hoisting and lifting devices when repositioning machinery, as authorized and trained.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, maintenance areas, walkways, and common workspaces.

Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, machine efficiency, and overall production performance.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements, and promptly report unsafe conditions or equipment concerns.

Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or a similar hands-on mechanical role is preferred.

Good mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot common equipment issues.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices, machinery inspections, and basic repair procedures.

Ability to follow technical instructions, maintenance procedures, and established safety requirements.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production and maintenance teams.

Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and maintenance techniques.

Preferred Attributes Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Experience maintaining Trumpf or Finnpower turret punch presses, Trumpf press brakes, or similar sheet metal fabrication equipment.

Completion of industry-related courses, plant equipment training, or formal maintenance training.

Relevant trade certifications or technical qualifications in mechanical or electrical maintenance.

Valid forklift or scissor lift certification.

Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability improvements.

Schedule & Pay Details Shift: Day shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM), with some flexibility required.
