The Compounding Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations and long-term objectives of the Compounding Department. This role provides leadership, direction, and technical guidance to production teams while ensuring all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
The successful candidate will oversee compounding, processing, pre-weighing, and inventory control operations, ensuring efficient use of personnel, materials, equipment, and resources. This position is also responsible for developing team leaders and staff, driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing departmental performance metrics, and supporting a culture focused on safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence.
In addition, the Compounding Production Supervisor will lead investigations into non-conformances and deviations, ensuring root causes are identified and effective corrective actions are implemented. The role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to employee development, and the ability to foster collaboration across departments to support organizational goals.
