Job Summary
As a member of the administrative team, you will play an important role in supporting the school through managing, maintaining and transferring student records, including educational data and health records. This will include additional records related tasks that support the senior leaders in running the school. You will also work with the office administration team as needed and perform first aid duties alongside them. You will work with a collaborative, dynamic team of staff and educators who are passionate about the success of all learners. This role requires someone who is detail oriented, technologically savvy, able to collaborate with staff, and work compassionately with students. ResponsibilitiesEnsure student records are accurate and completeManage student records requests and transfersEnsure records and data are ministry compliant and prepared for all reporting sessionsDigitize archival records and support the ongoing security of student recordsSupport the IEP and SPED teams with developing, collecting, tracking and compliance of relevant recordsMaintain medical records for studentsSupport the first aid within the school including regularly performing first aid as needed with students and staffAid the front desk team as needed with dutiesBuild and maintain reports and lists for tracking, and analysis of dataSupport leadership team with records and administrative related dutiesCompetencies Has a proactive, flexible and collaborative work ethic Strong organizational and time management skills Detail-oriented, organized and professional An active commitment to ongoing professional growth and development Effective communication in English (oral and written) and interpersonal skills (students, colleagues, parents) Is friendly and energetic Passion for continuous improvementRequirements Has experience in a similar role Has some post-secondary training/education in Administration Has strong computer skills including word processing, data management, spreadsheets etc Has data analysis and report writing skills Occupational First Aid (training provided if needed) Experience working with students, particularly those with learning disabilities is an assetIndependent school experience is an assetTo apply Please submit a resume and cover letter addressed to Travis Thielmann, Director, Academics & Curriculum .
