WALK-IN COUNSELLING THERAPIST (CONTRACT) (46-26)
Job Status: Contract to March 2027
Hours of Work: 7 hours per week (Mondays from 12pm to 8pm)
Base office: Huntsville

Purpose of the Position: The purpose of this position is to provide direct clinical services to individuals and their families in need of counselling/psychotherapy within the Districts of Muskoka and Parry Sound. The incumbent is responsible for delivering high quality assessment individual and group treatment/counselling intervention(s) following best practices recommendations. The priority will be given to those experiencing serious mental illness. The Therapist works in partnership with other organizations for shared care provides consultation in the community. The incumbent will provide timely and immediate accessible information referrals and support for clients accessing the walk-in service.
Education and Qualifications:
Salary scale: $36.62 to $45.25 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.
