Tasks
Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients
Read blueprints drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
Create and submit estimate reports quote sheets and bids forms
Advise on tendering procedures
Analyze tenders and recommend awards

Other: Minimum education of College in Civil Engineering reqd; Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering prefd; Minimum of 3 years of related experience reqd; Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing technical publications; Experience and specialty in electrical and mechanical cost strategies; Cost control in the commercial/institutional/Industrial sector concentrating on vertical construction; Experience with conceptual and detailed measurement / pricing; Experience in CMGC / GCCM process; Experience with estimating software systems onscreen takeoff software and BIM
