Job Summary

Conduct research and analysis to inform health policy development and program planning. Provide evidence-based recommendations and support evaluation of health initiatives.

Main Duties

  • Design and conduct quantitative and qualitative research studies on health policy and program effectiveness.
  • Analyze health data and research findings to identify trends gaps and policy implications.
  • Prepare concise reports policy briefs and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop evidence-based recommendations and contribute to the design or improvement of health programs.
  • Coordinate consultations and liaise with stakeholders including government agencies healthcare providers and community groups.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance using established indicators and propose adjustments as needed.

Requirements

  • University degree in public health health policy health administration economics social sciences or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in health policy research program evaluation or a related role.
  • Proven ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data using statistical or qualitative analysis software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience preparing reports and presentations.
  • Experience managing or contributing to project workplans timelines and stakeholder consultations.
  • Ability to interpret health system information guidelines and policy documents and apply them in program contexts.
