We are excited to share that Seaton Village, our new 200 bed long term care home located in North Pickering, will be opening in 2027. With this new home comes a major hiring wave. While we are not hiring just yet, we are receiving a lot of inquiries from the community and active job seekers and want you to know that jobs will be posted in the coming weeks and months.
What positions will we be hiring?
We will be hiring a wide range of positions across all departments. While many positions will be part-time, some full-time positions will also be available. Here are some of the roles we will be looking to fill:
Healthcare Roles:
- Personal Support Workers (PSWs)
- Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs)
- Registered Nurses (RNs)
- Nurse Practitioner
Support Services:
- Maintenance Workers (Housekeeping/Landry)
- Mechanical Maintenance Workers
- Maintenance Worker 2 (Electrician/Plumber)
Food Services:
- Assistant Chefs/Cooks
- Food Service Aides
Recreation and Therapy Services:
- Recreation Programmers
- Adjuvants (Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistants)
Administrative & Clerical Support
Leadership & Supervisory Roles
Where are positions located?
While Seaton Village is located in North Pickering, some of our existing employees will transition to the new home. As a result, we also expect vacancies at our existing long term care homes. This means we will be looking for people to join our team at all of the following locations:
Seaton Village in Pickering - NEW!
Lakeview Manor in Beaverton
Fairview Lodge in Whitby
Hillsdale Estates in Oshawa
Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa
