What is the opportunity?
As a Branch ManagerAdvisor,you fulfill a critical hybrid role in the branch with40-50% of your time spent providing advice to clients as a Financial Advisor and 50-75% in a Branch leadership role.Asa local market leader,you areresponsible for theretail performance within aBranchfocusing on business growth including new client acquisition and enhancing RBC’s ability to acquire and deepen client relationships.As a Financial Advisor, youhavea breadth and depth ofexpertiseacross everyday banking,investments,and credit, with the ability tofulfill onarobust Advice Experience on both complex personal and business needs.
What will you do?
Managea team that deliversan exceptional client experience byleading withadvice andleveragingthe full capability of RBC to provideappropriatesolutionsto meetourclient needsand financial circumstances.
Champion digital enablement by proactively educating our clients to self-serve,while leading with advice, serving through digital where possible and encouraging our clients to interact with us in their channel of choice.
Lead your team from the front,actively engaging clients inside and outside the branch, providing complex advice solutions andmodelling key behaviorswith an emphasis on teamwork to meet ourclient’sneeds.
Remain locally connected and active in your community,effectively motivatingyour team and RBC Partners to proactively connectwith clients and Centers of Influence
Strategically managecapacityacross the AdvisorteamleveragingAdvisor skills and capabilities, mobility and understanding of weekly/monthly traffic flow to drive client contacts.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
CompletedBranch Compliance Officer courseoffered by the CanadianSecuritiesInstitute,or abilityto writeanexam within 4 months of startdate.
Entrepreneurialbusiness acquisition mindset
Bilingualism (English and French)required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs.
Nice-to-have
Experience in both business and personalbanking.
Minimum 3 years in a people management role
Completed Certificate of Achievement – Personal Finance, offered through the Canadian Securities Institute (i.e.Fundamentals of Personal Finance – Quebec, Investment and Taxation Fundamentals – Quebec, Insurance and Retirement – Quebec)
