Purpose of Position: The Administrative Student is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the Operations Department. In addition, the Administrative Student is also required to maintain confidentiality and a positive demeanor while providing support to the employees of the organization on an as needed basis. Position will be on site in the Dowling, ON office and part-time. Major Areas of Responsibility: * Provide direct administrative and office support, as directed * Maintain and create employee photos, ID cards, cubicle and locker tags. * Maintain and create vinyl graphics. * Maintain the front kiosk and front reception area. * Maintain and upload monthly TV slides. * Provide support in the coordination of Company activities and events. * Assist within other areas of Operations, as needed. * Present a positive and welcoming demeanour of the office to all employees and visitors alike. * Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Experience - Required: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, or relevant discipline, preferred. * Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel. * Proven organizational and time management skills are required * Keen attention to detail. * Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Knowledge and Experience - Desired: * G license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset. * Bilingualism (French, Spanish and English) is an asset. * Experience working in an ISO 9001 would be considered an asset Travel: * None Hexagon is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
