Nanny Wanted - Experienced Household Manager / Family Assistant Position — Calgary, September Start

Hi! We're a busy, active family of five based in Calgary's Kensington area. We have three wonderful kids — aged 9, 8, and 6 — who between them play hockey, soccer, figure skating, musical theatre, and swimming. Life in our household is full, fast-paced, and genuinely fun, and we're looking for someone who thrives in exactly that kind of environment. I run a business full time and my husband travels frequently for work, so we rely on our household support to be a true partner in keeping things running smoothly. We were incredibly fortunate to have the same nanny with us for seven years, and we're looking for someone who brings that same level of experience, reliability, and genuine warmth. What the role looks like: This is a part-time position -- either three longer days or five shorter days per week, depending on what works for the right person. Start date is the last week of August or early September. Three mornings a week, we need someone to help the kids get ready, make breakfast and packed lunches, and walk them to the bus stop. Once the kids are off, the focus shifts to housekeeping, laundry, and cooking — following our recipes, introducing new ones, and helping with meal planning for the week. Occasionally, when my husband is away and family isn't available, we'd also need help with activity drop-offs and pickups in the evenings. We're looking for someone who: - Has significant experience working in a busy family home - Holds cleanliness and organisation to a high standard — and genuinely enjoys building good systems - Is confident and creative in the kitchen - Is warm, patient, and naturally good with children - Is used to juggling multiple things and stays calm under pressure - Holds a valid driver's licence (an asset but not essential) - Has current First Aid and CPR certification - Can provide strong, recent references If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
