Position Overview

The Ingram School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, invites applications for a tenure‑track position in

Nurse‑Led Health Systems Change . The role emphasizes health services research, leadership, health‑care administration, and the application of big data or artificial intelligence to strengthen timely patient access to advanced practice nursing and to drive measurable improvements in health and system‑level outcomes. This position is available at the rank of Assistant Professor. Job Duties

• Develop and advance an independent research program that strengthens patient access and improves health outcomes. • Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching for a diverse student body. • Participate in service activities within the School, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the University, or the wider community. • Scholars addressing specific health challenges faced by Black and Indigenous communities are especially encouraged; we welcome applications that advance diversity and equity, including research relevant to underserved and marginalized populations. Qualifications & Educational Requirements

• Prior education as a nurse or a related discipline with a research focus in nursing. • Doctorate in a health‑related discipline and a track record of peer‑reviewed publications. • Post‑doctoral training and evidence of success in receiving competitive external research funding are assets. • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), with a demonstrated track record in these areas. • Fluent in English; a working knowledge of French or a commitment to acquire it within a few years of appointment is preferred.
