This role provides administrative and project coordination support, ensuring efficient documentation, tracking, and smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced construction environment.
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Contract: This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension, depending on business needs
What You'll Do Here:
- Interpret and apply company policies, procedures, and project requirements with accuracy
- Maintain and manage organized data tracking systems to support project efficiency
- Oversee document control processes, including organizing project files, records, and site photos
- Accurately enter and track time and equipment data
- Process packing slips, supplier invoices, and receiving documentation in a timely manner
- Prepare and update locate packages to support project activities
- Assist with billing processes and ongoing project tracking and reporting
- Provide administrative support, including printing, filing, and document preparation
- Support the team with additional administrative and coordination tasks as required
What You Bring to the Team:
- Previous experience in an administrative role; experience within the construction industry is considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to senior leadership
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)Familiarity with financial systems is considered an asset
- Experience working with SAP is an asset
Reason for vacancy: Replacement
The expected pay range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year
Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience and unique skills.
