Live-In Nanny & Household Assistant (possible live-out if you have a vehicle) Location: Downtown Brampton, Ontario We are looking for a caring, organized, and proactive live-in nanny to become part of our family. We have two wonderful children—a toddler and an infant—and are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children while also helping keep our household running smoothly. Schedule * Monday to Friday most weeks. * Evenings and weekends generally off unless mutually agreed upon in advance. Childcare Responsibilities * Morning routine and getting children ready for the day. * Caring for infant and toddler throughout the day. * Planning age-appropriate educational and developmental activities. * Reading, singing, outdoor walks, and interactive play. * Feeding, diaper changes, and maintaining nap schedules. * Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas clean and organized. * Washing and organizing children’s clothing and linens. * Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and positive environment. Household Responsibilities During children’s naps or independent play, assist with light household tasks including: * General tidying and organization. * Laundry (kids laundry). * Vacuuming and mopping play area as needed * Kitchen clean-up after kids meals. * Loading and unloading dishwasher. * Changing kids bed linens once per week * Light meal preparation for the kids. * Emptying household garbage and recycling. * Maintaining a clean and organized play area. (No heavy-duty deep cleaning required.) Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: * Warm, loving, and patient. * Reliable and punctual. * Honest and trustworthy. * Self-motivated and able to work independently. * Comfortable caring for infants and toddlers simultaneously. * Non-smoker. * CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification). * Previous childcare experience required. * Driver’s licence is an asset but not required. * Comfortable living as part of a respectful family environment. Accommodation This is a live-in position. I would consider live-out if you can arrive at our home by 7:00am daily. The nanny will have: * A private basement. * Private living space. * Wi-Fi and utilities included. * Meals provided while working.
