What We Need

We are looking for a Front End Developer who can design, develop, and maintain web applications using React with exposure to Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies. Role will also be responsible for guiding a team of developers, conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the quality and delivery of the projects. Role will collaborate with other team leads, project managers, and stakeholders in an agile environment.

Are you :

Detail oriented and able to work independently and in a team?

Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features?

Able to troubleshoot and resolve database related issues as well as understand a component of a proposed system and be able to build it with guidance?

A Day in the Life

Implement front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React

Collaborate with team leads, project managers, and stakeholders in an agile environment

Design, develop & maintain web applications using React, and other modern technologies

Optimize the stack for performance, security, and scalability within new projects and existing code

Follow best practices and coding standards

Document code and functionality

Integrate with back-end services using RESTful APIs, JSON, etc

Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests using JUnit, Selenium, etc

Work with our DevOps team to improve our CI / CD pipeline

Troubleshoot and debug issues

Contribute to creation and sustaining measurable and actionable development KPIs

Contribute to component library to ensure robust component-based framework

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or commensurate work experience

5+ years of experience as a front-end developer, ideally full stack or similar role

Strong knowledge of React, HTML, CSS, JS

Must have worked with back-end integrations

Experience with web development tools such as Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.

Experience with databases such as PostGres, MongoDB, etc.

Experience with version control tools such as Git, SVN, etc.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, etc.

Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

Preference given to candidates that write / use tooling to facilitate / streamline their work
