Description de posteYou have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) You are a CPA or CPA-eligible preferred You have 4–7+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience You have Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards You have Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, formulas) You have Experience with ERP systems (e.g., D365, Maximo ... ) You have Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills You have the Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines A competitive wage, vacation, benefits and a RRSP matching program Annual AIM tuition scholarship program up to $8,500 per eligible dependents The tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development A dynamic & rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun!
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement, supporting accurate accounting operations and informed business decisions.
What you're responsible for :
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analyses
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
- Support internal and external audits, including documentation and audit requests
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Mentor junior accounting staff as needed
