Position : Logistics Manager Reports to : Director Supply Chain

Opportunities

This is a very exciting time for the Logistics team as we continue to grow and expand! You must be able to work well in a very fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will be challenged with providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders whilst finding efficiencies and constantly looking to improve existing processes. You will play a key role in optimizing the Logistics team's performance, whilst supervising, mentoring and growing the logistics workforce.

    • Knowledge & skills

  • You have excellent mathematical and analytical skills

  • You have a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics
  • You can prioritize and effectively meet deadlines

    • Experience

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience working in transportation, logistics or a related field within a supervisory or management capacity
  • You have excellent mathematical and analytical skills
  • You have a track record of building effective cross-functional relationships

    • Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains
  • Experience working in logistics in a food environment
  • Experience implementing a TMS system

    • things you will do...

  • Oversee all transportation operations, including scheduling, tracking, and coordinating domestic and international shipments
  • Manage relationships, negotiate tariffs, and select carriers and 3PL partners
  • Develop and execute 3PL and transportation strategies in collaboration with senior supply chain leadership
  • Ensure accurate documentation for customs, imports / exports, and daily shipping activity
  • Monitor shipment status, delivery performance, and compliance with service-level expectations
  • Evaluate and approve freight rates, invoices, and related costs; identify cost‑saving opportunities
  • Maintain logistics KPIs, analyze transportation data, and implement process improvements
  • Coordinate with internal teams—including order management, project management, and installation—to ensure timely product delivery
  • Resolve transportation, customer, and carrier issues promptly
  • Supervise and train logistics staff to meet accuracy, productivity, and timeliness goals
  • Maintain customer records and reconcile carrier‑related deductions or refunds
