Asset Manager

A well-established and growing real estate investment firm is in search of a hands-on, operationally focused to oversee a portfolio of over 2,000 multi-family residential units across the GTA along with some Canada wide. This is an excellent opportunity for a performance-driven real estate professional looking to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team with executive-level exposure.

In this newly created role, you’ll report directly to the Director, Multi-Family and play a key part in shaping asset strategy, optimizing property performance, and executing capital improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be "hands on" with a proactive mindset, financial and operational expertise, and a passion for driving results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the performance of a multi-family portfolio, ensuring assets meet financial and operational targets

• Conduct regular site visits to assess property condition, operations, and team performance

• Collaborate with property management teams to optimize occupancy, rent collection, and resident satisfaction

• Identify operational efficiencies, implement best practices, and improve property-level procedures

• Monitor and manage capital expenditure projects, renovations, and value-add initiatives

• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the portfolio

• Lead or support due diligence and integration for acquisitions and dispositions

• Evaluate vendor performance and assist with negotiating service contracts to ensure value for money

• Report regularly to ownership or senior leadership on asset performance and strategic plans

• Track market trends and competitor performance to adjust operational strategies proactively
