As a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and administrative functions while acting as a key liaison with external stakeholders. This is a diverse role with broad responsibilities which will require a hands-on approach and the ability to juggle competing priorities. As the finance subject matter expert, you will play an integral role in supporting the organization with a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Reporting to the Executive Director, these include :
- Prepare and implement financial plans, budgets and forecasts and provide analysis and recommendations
- Prepare financial statements, reports and analysis for senior management and stakeholders
- Manage cash flow and working capital and monitor and control budgets, expenses, and financial resources
- Perform compliance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to related policies and procedures
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives and provide financial insight, risk assessments and recommendations for improving efficiencies
- Act as key liaison with external stakeholders and auditors
- Manage and oversee administrative functions including IT, facilities management, and contract negotiations
- Lead and mentor the finance and administrative team and ensure continued development and high performance
- Act as the liaison between the health and safety committee and the leadership team

Qualifications :
The main qualifications for this role include :
- Completed CPA designation preferred
- Post-secondary education in finance and / or accounting required
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive work experience in finance, accounting, and administration
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of ASNPO
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
