Schedule : Monday to Thursday, 6 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Position Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) to support our manufacturing operations in Spruce Grove, Alberta . The ideal candidate will bring solid hands-on mechanical experience, a strong safety mindset, and the physical capability to handle the demands of a fast-paced production environment.

You’ll install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery to ensure our production equipment operates efficiently and safely with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with our preventative maintenance software to minimize equipment downtime
• Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, and generators.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, set-up, and repair.
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as programmable logic controls.
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Construct foundations for machinery or direct other workers to construct foundations.
• Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
