About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Financial & Accounting Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the financial infrastructure that powers L Squared’s operations from automating reporting and streamlining accounting workflows to supporting audit compliance and revenue operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, operations, and technology. You will work closely with leadership to bring structure, automation, and strategic clarity to our financial processes as we scale. Responsibilities: Financial Automation & Reporting - Connect QuickBooks to Fathom and validate data sync; build and maintain P&L reports, cashflow templates, and budget models - Identify and map all manual workflows (payroll entry, intercompany, GST, receipt mapping) - Define and build a SaaS metrics dashboard tracking key indicators including MRR, burn rate, and CAC - Train internal users on Fathom dashboards and support ongoing financial reporting needs Audit, Compliance & SOP Development - Build and own SOPs for Vendor Expense Audits, Internal Receipt Audits, and Gross Profit Audits - Create and maintain an SLA framework covering all finance tasks — owners, due dates, and audit checkpoints - Document and review the GST calculation process; identify opportunities for automation - Run quarterly audit cycles, document findings, and iterate on SOPs based on results - Launch and manage Renewal Audits - verify contract pricing/terms and flag discrepancies Revenue, Expense & Operational Intelligence - Design and implement the SDR commission calculation system; ensure accuracy and auditability - Build and manage a subscription tracker to monitor recurring revenue and renewal timelines - Support CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) integration with finance systems - Deliver regular reporting on revenue recognition, COGS, and gross profit -flagging anomalies proactively Financial Infrastructure & Strategy - Manage the RBC banking relationship and support investment research and execution - Maintain a systems inventory and manage finance team access across platforms - Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by leadership - Assist with other finance, accounting, and operations duties as assigned Qualifications: - 2–4 years of experience in a financial analysis, accounting, or finance operations role - ideally within a SaaS or tech company (Required) - Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and financial reporting tools (experience with Fathom is a strong asset) - Solid understanding of SaaS financial metrics: MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn rate - Hands-on experience building SOPs, audit frameworks, and internal controls - Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills; comfort working with large data sets - Experience with commission tracking, revenue reconciliation, or subscription management is an asset - Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to translate financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders Educational Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field - Must hold a CPA designation or be actively enrolled in a CPA program (Required) Additional Information: - This is an on-site role What you’ll love About Us: - A fun, fast-paced, open, and friendly work environment - Competitive salary based on experience - Training & development opportunities - Paid personal time off - Company events - Gym and retail perks - Performance incentives Benefits: - Company events - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Paid time off
