Adecco is currently hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer for a full-time 2-year contract opportunity in Ottawa. This role is ideal for a highly experienced developer who enjoys building secure, scalable enterprise applications, working with modern JavaScript frameworks, and contributing to identity, authentication, and cloud-based solutions within complex environments. In this position, you will design and implement secure web applications, develop enterprise-grade APIs, and work closely with Azure services and identity platforms to support mission-critical systems. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring 12 days per month on-site in Ottawa.
  • Salary: $125,000 to $175,000 per year
  • Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid - 12 days on-site per month)
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Employment Type: Full-time | 2-year contract

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure, scalable web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, Next.js) and Node.js backend services
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs, including enterprise integrations with Microsoft Graph API and other business systems
  • Implement secure authentication flows using MSAL or similar libraries, including token lifecycle management and security best practices
  • Develop and deploy applications using Azure services such as App Service, Key Vault, Storage Account, Front Door, Logic Apps, and Log Analytics
  • Configure and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments
  • Explore and integrate Generative AI concepts and agentic frameworks into enterprise solutions
  • Develop technical specifications, write production-ready code, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity standards
  • Design and implement identity and entitlement lifecycle capabilities in Microsoft Entra ID, including role-based access, delegated administration, and least-privilege controls
  • Build secure workflow processes for identity and entitlement changes, including approval, validation, and enforcement of business rules
  • Implement audit logging, traceability, and operational telemetry for identity and access changes to ensure compliance and transparency
  • Develop secure integrations with Microsoft Graph and Azure services using enterprise-grade patterns for reliability and security
  • Support junior developers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Assist in developing and documenting technical processes and procedures
Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a developer on enterprise-level projects
  • Minimum 3 years of experience implementing large-scale IAM solutions in complex environments
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with React, Angular, or Next.js
  • Experience with Node.js, Express, and RESTful API design
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API and enterprise integrations
  • Experience with MSAL or similar authentication/authorization libraries
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services including App Service, Key Vault, Storage, Front Door, and Logic Apps
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
  • Exposure to Generative AI concepts and modern agentic frameworks
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security principles including authentication and authorization models
  • Experience producing clear technical documentation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Hands-on experience with identity governance concepts including entitlement management, access lifecycle, and auditability
  • Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and token-based security models
  • Experience building secure, auditable systems with logging and traceability aligned to Zero Trust principles
