I am seeking care for my teenage son while I am occasionally out of town for short days 1-3 days at most. This position is ideal for someone mature and dependable who is comfortable providing possible overnight supervision and maintaining a safe, structured home environment while I am away. My son is 14 years old and fairly independent, so this is not traditional full-time childcare. The primary responsibility is to provide adult supervision, support, safety, and consistency while I am away. Providing transportation or assistance with school activities while I'm away. Previous childcare experience preferred, references required, valid driver’s licence, and willingness to complete a background/vulnerable sector check. Position: Casual / As Needed Schedule: Primarily when I travel, including occasional weekends and multiple overnight stays Compensation: To be discussed based on the length of stay and responsibilities.
