Leadership & Strategy : Provide executive direction to the Franchise Services team, guiding Franchise Performance Consultants, Opening Services, and other key functions. Establish clear priorities and performance metrics that align with overall business objectives.
Franchise Performance & Retention : Spearhead franchise performance strategies to improve operational, financial, and guest outcomes. Manage portfolio performance, driving corrective actions and remediation plans as necessary.
Brand Standards & Compliance : Oversee the implementation and adherence to brand standards across the portfolio. Lead the Quality Assurance Review process to ensure brand compliance.
Hotel Openings & Transitions : Manage hotel lifecycle activities, ensuring smooth transitions during new openings, renovations, and conversions. Provide operational insight to support development efforts.
Franchisee Engagement : Own the franchisee experience strategy, leading training and educational programs, and ensuring high satisfaction through continuous engagement.
Financial Management : Oversee the operating budget for Franchise Services, ensuring effective financial management and ROI-focused decision‑making.
Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with peers in Development, Commercial, Finance, and other areas to drive enterprise‑wide initiatives and support franchisee needs.
Requirements
Experience : Minimum 15 years in hotel and franchise operations, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles.
Education : Post‑secondary education in business, hospitality management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Leadership : Proven track record leading multi‑disciplinary teams within a franchised or multi‑unit environment.
Business Acumen : Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and apply ROI‑based decision‑making.
Skills : Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with hotel technology experience an asset.
Travel : Willingness to travel up to 30% across Canada.
Languages : French language skills are highly preferred.
