R00004147SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Specialist is accountable to provide subject matter expertise and administration of a specialized function. As a member of SaskEnergy’s management team, this position is responsible to act as a central point of contact in the management and administration of strategic and operational functions, providing expert advice and direction that aligns with departmental and corporate goals and objectives.The focus area covered by this position is: Network Services, with a primary focus on planning and coordinating the design, installation and connectivity of hardware, network infrastructure, telecommunication systems, SCADA infrastructure to ensure stable and high availability of network and SCADA operations.# **Position Details*** Non-union. This position is permanent full time.# **Key Accountabilities*** Provide guidance, training, coaching, feedback and recognition, maintaining a positive and productive culture that includes safety, accountability, respect, motivation and effective communication.* Provide technical expertise to Enterprise Security, HR and Legal during investigations of a sensitive nature.* Identify new business solutions and operational efficiencies, while providing recommendations which have a significant impact on SaskEnergy’s business operations and strategies.* Collaborate with Enterprise Security team in the strategic planning and implementation of recommended best practices when it comes to cyber security.* Support vendor management and software license purchase/renewal activities by providing technical expertise and usage reporting.* Working with the Service Desk, formulate and implement solutions to improve service levels.* Act as a technical escalation point, leading incident and problem management activities including root cause analysis.* Carry out technical research & development and proof of concept activities.* Assess the risk and business impact of technical change, and work with stakeholders to mitigate.* Assist with the development, implementation and enforcement of appropriate policies, standards and procedures for the Digital, Technology & Security (DT&S) department.# **Knowledge/Skills/Abilities*** A recognized Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.* Five (5) years in the information technology network architecture, SCADA, design and support operation.* 10+ years in IT related technical implementations and support.A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.# **Application Instructions*** Please apply online with your cover letter and resume outlining your qualifications.* For more information on this position, please contact Human Resources at 306-777-9091.# **Closing Date**May 8, 2026# **Salary Range**$92,716.00 - $132,958.00#LI-POSTWe are Saskatchewan's natural gas distribution company.
