Description de postePosition Overview Intern Machine Learning Developer – 4‑month internship start September 2026. Open to candidates in Toronto, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa (and Quebec with French fluency).
Responsibilities Join a fast‑paced consulting team consisting of Partners, Product Managers, Data Scientists, Architects, and Software Engineers to conceptualize, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions at enterprise scale. As an intern, you will work on projects that generate value for external client engagements or internal initiatives, applying industry‑leading ML technologies on a cloud platform (IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS, or Edge).
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Demonstrated familiarity or interest in machine learning, statistical analysis, or data mining through previous internships, academic projects, hackathons, or publications
Experience with one or more scripting languages (Python preferred) or a strong computer science foundation
Hands‑on experience with GenAI tools (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel) and LLM concepts (prompt engineering, RAG)
Excellent communication skills, able to explain ideas to peers and managers and work independently or as part of a cross‑functional team
Must be eligible to work full‑time for the 4‑month term starting September 2026
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
One or more work terms in machine‑learning, computer‑vision, or software engineering
Experience using machine‑learning/data‑engineering libraries/frameworks in Python (scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, PySpark)
Hands‑on R&D to develop software demos and prototypes
Support delivery projects in AI, ML, Automation, LLM on major cloud providers
Familiarity with cloud-native data application development (Kubernetes, Docker, storage)
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP AI and Cloud services considered an asset
Preferred Education Bachelor’s Degree

GenAI/Agentic AI Frameworks – AutoGen, LangGraph, LLM, Microsoft Agent Framework
Seldon Core, Spark, Kafka
PyTorch, TensorFlow CUDA
Computer Vision
