Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Reconditioning: Perform mechanical and cosmetic reconditioning on used vehicles to ensure they meet dealership standards for resale

  • Inspect and Assess: Complete used vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, safety, and cosmetic repair needs

  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform general mechanical repairs, maintenance, and part replacement on used inventory

  • Prepare Vehicles for Sale: Ensure vehicles are clean, road-ready, and retail-standard prior to being merchandised for sale

  • Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all dealership and industry safety guidelines

  • Maintain Work Area: Keep your workspace organized and tools properly maintained

  • Quality Control: Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail to ensure all vehicles meet safety and presentation expectations


Requirements:

  • Licensing:Valid NS Drivers License and a current clean Drivers Abstract.

  • Designation:Motor Vehicle Inspection License and Red Seal Certification required.

  • Experience: Previous automotive repair or reconditioning experience required; dealership experience considered an asset.

  • Technical Skills:Strong working knowledge of vehicle systems, mechanical repairs, and used vehicle inspection processes.

  • Attention to Detail:Strong eye for detail with a commitment to quality workmanship and vehicle presentation.

  • Team Player:Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
