Job Details
- Shift: 5&2
- Working Hours: 8 hours per day
- Possible apprenticeship: for the right candidate
- Rate: $25-28
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Clean and prepare work areas by removing debris and ensuring safety compliance.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, safely and effectively
- Apply paint to improve or repair existing piping and steel structures
- Perform safety/standby duties such as fire watch
- Maintain inventory and organization of tools and materials
- Measure, cut, grind, and drill various materials as directed
- Support the team in maintaining a safe and organized work environment
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years of construction experience.
- Experience as a Labourer in an industrial setting is preferred.
- Trailer-pulling experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads.
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated dedication.
- Ability to interface and communicate well with others.
- Understand and follow oral and written directions.
TICKETS REQUIREMENTS
- H2S Alive, CSTS 09, WHMIS 2015
- Must be willing to complete a pre-access D&A test.
- Must have own transportation as most locations are not accessible with public transportation.
- Must be local to the area.
